"There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out all fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18

There is the fear of losing someone close to you, the fear of having not enough money, the fear of not doing well in our studies, the fear of being left out, the fear of not being loved.
All of us feel afraid at one point or another. No one has ever felt extremely confident and full of boldness all the time.

When you start to feel this way, sometimes priorities can go wrong, you start to feel exhausted, tired. You start to worry, because fear involves torment! Everytime you are afraid of something, you become trapped in that particular world of fear. You stay in bondage! And that is precisely what the devil is trying to do. These fears divert your attention away from God!

But perfect love casts out all fear.
All of us have a certain fear on the inside. We got to overcome it!
Science has proven that most of your worries never come to pass! They are futile worries.
We got to let God into our lives because where God is, Faith arises and dwells on the inside of you. Faith & Fear never go hand in hand. Where Faith is, Fear cannot remain!

Everytime fear comes and grips your heart, always look to God! Speak in tongues to build yourselves up in faith(The spirit builds!) and keep confessing the promises of God!

2 Chronicles 15:7
" But You, be strong and Do not let your hands be weak
For your work shall be rewarded."

This verse was written in a time when there was great turmoil in the land. There was no peace. But yet God spoke a word and cause reforms in the land through his servant Asa.

God encouraged Asa saying, " But You, Be strong and Do not let your hands be weak, For your work shall be rewarded." Upon hearing that, the bible says Asa took courage and removed the abominable idols from the land of Judah and Benjamin and cities which he had taken from the mountains of Ephraim. And then he restored the
altar of the Lord.

Who or What is your idol today?
Your studies? Your family? Your Friends? Your movies/ outings? Your famous singers or even yourself?

What is an idol?
Anything that occupies that place in our esteem and affections, in our thoughts, words and ways, in our dependence and reliance, in our worship and devotedness.
Basically anything that you love more than God and is spending more time with it than you actually realise is slowly becoming your idol or already is one in your life.

The bible says that Asa after removing the idols, restored the Altar of the Lord. We got to start restoring God's altar in our lives. Removing all the idols and restoring God's rightful position in our hearts!

BUT YOU! says god! BUT YOU! be strong and do not let your hands be weak! God is moving even if you don't see it yet, even in your most trying times. Even if you don't feel anything. God is moving.

Let's not be weak,
Let's be strong and of good courage to run this race!
Let's Rebuild God's altar in our hearts!
Let's Breakthrough!
